Mr. Dipper is in custody - I'm assuming - or in the wind, which would be worse. The disadvantaged children that haven't bolted are in capable and compassionate hands. Nothing says that they won't end up in juvie but that would probably be if there were serious charges against them. Hopefully they can all go to respectable family members/foster homes.
Turq did really well in calming down Tacy and leading Ansel to her and then leading Tacy and Ansel back out to safety. Even if he followed the deer instinct and bolted for a second, he circled back and made sure his herd were safe. In nature a young buck probably would bolt if they heard a gunshot because there's usually an older buck/lead stag making sure the herd is following and safe. So Turq followed deer hierarchy and then realised that he was the lead stag even if he's a young buck and followed his deer form's budding leadership instinct.
I'm glad that Justin was able to explain to Turq about Ansel's needed adrenaline crash after being woken so rapidly to curb some, if not all, of Turq's worry.
