See "Still Growing Strong," thumbnailed elsewhere. I started out aiming for a villanelle but the two strong lines had different end sounds, so I made a new form instead.
Also, I don't think of the villanelle as evil. I know most people hate it, but it's one of my favorite forms. Sestina is another. Yes, I'm weird. But it makes for good poetry.
