But yay for Snatcher bringing Ansel aside and Janie already getting Ethan under her wing.
I love the support and comfort of Ansel, Janie, Turq and Jasper. I love that Ansel and everyone asks Ethan what he needs to feel better. I like that Ethan is able to draw on comfort food from his family.
I love, love, love that Turq stays outside to make sure the fire's out and then scratches at the door to come in to check on Ethan! \o/ Whoo hoo, progress yet again!
Turq as a therapy animal, I can see it. He's learnt quite a lot from Boots already and with his own instincts for when to approach people he'll be amazing at it.
Bad call is bad and ouchie but I'm glad that the babies had someone with them, as horrid as that was for Ethan. No one deserves to die alone, but especially when they're too young to understand what's happening - or in the case of traumatic death - why.
I'm just glad that Ethan had the presence of mind or felt raw enough to seek comfort with Ansel, Janie and friends.
