nonono! Shiv in a club would be a surefire disaster! I was thinking a long while after he got comfortable with Gray and Ricasso, a more controlled setting with fewer players who are dangerous in their own rights, able to defend themselves at need, and compassionate enough to hold him correctly. Side-Eye would probably push boundaries enough and be reckless enough he'd get black-balled from a club too, so I feel like Ricasso and Gray are really the only appropriate options for that sort of exercise with Shiv.
It doesn't even have to start out in the deep end of the tar pit either, Shiv's a touch starved mess so he could benefit from even a bit of Gray or Ricasso sitting beside him and tantalizing him with little taps of power alternated with human touch and other stimulus similar to what they did for aftercare after the spar with Side-Eye, though I think the situation would be exactly REVERSE for Shiv "okay, I'll do the touchy-feely crap, but then I want to hit things!" *not so sneakily adores the scritches*
