I wonder if Clint feels what I feel when people hit on me--they *expect* performance, so it reads as a threat; i.e. do this or I will get mad. Normally that's a woman thing, but he comes from an abusive background, so any demand of performance, especially sexual since he actively dislikes it, may unconciously read as threatening.
