Yeah, I've been observing the changing vernacular with keen interest. The way teens talk changes almost every year, and not just in reference to social and cultural variables. 'Smol' is a particularly delightful instance. I'm less fond of 'sick' being the new 'cool' and 'thirsty' being the new 'horny'. But give it six months and it will change again. How adults speak has changed far less dramatically, though I have been entertained by how political buzzwords alter common conversations. Rich white men have really latched on to that 'win the future' and 'grow the economy' bs. I'm waiting for someone to use 'bigly' unironically.
