I have fond memories of our cat sleeping next to me and purring when I was little, but our current cat likes bouncing around too much to sleep in the same bed as me. He is firmly ushered out of everyone's bedroom after he decided to come tearing into my mother's room the first night, sit on her face, and start purring like a madkitty. :p
