New Mangoes!

Today the store did not have Alphonso mangoes.  Instead it had ataulfo mangoes.  These are yellow with a funny bent shape.  They are supposed to be another creamy/less-fibrous variety.  So I will be making another batch of mango ice cream. Which is good, since we're almost out of the last batch.

Sadly, no. The ataulfos were in between Alphonsos and regular mangoes. But that's okay. It's fun to try new fruit varieties. If I need one with a citrusy note, these have that.
