I also LOVED this! I just wanted to see more, as I always want to see more of LIFC. I know fanfic doesn't pay the bills but I ADORE your take on the Avengers. It honestly is one of my primary sources of head canons and my main AU I wish was canon.

Thank you, this nicely clarified a distinction I was struggling to explain when I was having conversations about the differences and similarities between fanfic, the fans running the asylum, and legacies that shouldn't be tampered with.
Subjecting the books to critical analysis - using them to TEACH critical analysis - is such perfect, perfect poetic justice.
