I worked with the snakes and anoles in our life sciences class...when the ball python had an incomplete shed and her eye scales didn't come off even with a warm soak, our teacher dried her off and used some duct tape that he'd taken the extreme tac off of by pressing it to his flannel shirt first, those caps peeled right off!
...UVA/UVB combination tanning bed, redlight bed, or medical grade light therapy box for the Pythea?? She'd probably still need a redlight bed treatment every now and again to satisfy the needs of the scaled areas (Good thing we made the red light human sized in 2014 in L-America! T-America probably has a fancy gizmology combination light therapy box for treating things like plaque psoriasis and eczema, maybe she can bask in one of those??)
