Tuesday Yardening

ysabetwordsmithToday Doug helped me by digging holes, so we got all six of the Canadian hemlock shrubs planted and mulched. I also cut a bunch of milk jugs into plant protectors.
I've seen several butterflies today. White cabbage butterflies, also something small and orange. Lots of ladybugs and worms while we were digging.

EDIT: Picked up the tree wraps from the post office. Put the first batch of those on seedlings.
The serviceberry tree now has its white blossoms. Pretty. Lilacs and elderberry are leafing out.
