... because it's raining snot today. Really, look at this stuff.

It sticks to everything. My hopper feeder and fly-through feeder are coated with it.

So are the trees and bushes.

It stuck to my boots when I went outside, and it's very heavy. I hope the power lines and such don't come down.

Date: 2010-02-06 02:45 am (UTC)But you know I miss the snow. I relocated to Texas some years ago from Kentucky. The winter snows are about the only thing I do miss up there.
Hope the power holds out for you.
Thoughts
Date: 2010-02-06 03:38 am (UTC)I like snow. This ... is not snow. It's slush blobbed all over the branches and the yard. I was hoping to get a nice picturesque snowfall because I knew that I'd have today and tomorrow at home to take a camera for a walk around the yard.

Date: 2010-02-06 10:47 pm (UTC)I was surprised by how slippery the stuff really was. It wasn't at all like snow, more like wet ice. :P
We did finally get some real snow last night, so I was able to go outside today and shoot some new photos. I haven't downloaded them yet. It will be interesting to see what turns out.
Re: Thank you!
