Unemployable = Untouchable

 A lot of people in America today are effectively unemployable due to their age, health, or other factors.  Everyone is expected to have a job and blamed if they do not, yet there are far fewer jobs than workers, let alone jobs that will actually support a household.  So those people get forced out of society, and that causes cascading problems.

I've seen that too. My friends in disability-rights have been particularly incensed about cutting benefits and raising obligations on people who either can't work or are unemployable because no business will have anything to do with them. So they just get thrown under the bus. That is not okay.
