I think this dynamic works best with the short length. It could be picked up later from the SPOON side though.
Oh, yes. This is a great spot to end the poem on. ^_^ But the story is far from over and I would dearly love to see how SPOON deals with Ironsides and how she got to be their mascot sometime is all. ^_^
