Mmmmmmm. Been dealing with real-life `ohana a lot these last few weeks... along with blood-kin that aren't always so pleasant.
Hm. The thought occurs to me, marriage is the ultimate act of creating `ohana. So, why should it *not* be that, once (if?) one is ready to handle the idea, that *all* family should be chosen?
The idea of the utter chaos into which this would plunge various immigration services brings a smile...
