I'm in the MOAR PLEEZ camp on quinine (Schweppes Bitter Lemon, anyone?). Since my partner doesn't share that predilection, I get to sit here and slowly sip my wonderfully tropical, non-alcoholic drink, savoring every swallow. It consists of: Talenti Mango Sorbet (drastically oversweet by itself, imo), brewed mango tea, and diet tonic water. This particular combination arose from the need to deal with the excessive sweetness of the frozen treat, so as not to waste food. I quite like how the scoop of sorbet, half-glass of tea, fill rest with tonic concoction turned out... but not enough to run out and get more mango sorbet, unless they put it on crazy loss-leader sale again. :-)
to quinine or not to quinine?
