I've been introduced to The Korps. Definitely counterculture. Literally people writing/arting-up supervillains dedicated to breaking the harms around them and giving more power to the people... while being utterly queer, kinky, diverse, weird, and occult.
But try to find the writing without help? Nearly all of it is hidden among Google Docs and you need carefully hand-crafted indices to find it if someone doesn't volunteer their own works. The rest is mostly drawings/paintings and character design, found on various art-focused websites (but often buried or affiliation not always mentioned)
Heck, I attended DVS this year via Discord and Picarto... decent number of people, but definitely still underground despite already expanding past its origins.
