>> I'm writing a story from Officer Peter Rybokov's point of view right now-- you've seen some of it-- <<
:D 3q3q3q!!!
>> but the point is that Peter is a big, bearish type, <<
Do you have a picture for him yet?
One thing I love about Hefty is he's like that, big and strong and kinda furry, but he likes pink and is gay as a goose and a pretty soft touch with people he likes.
>> a really GOOD choice for calming bar fights and busting doors as needed, who is using tools that Joshua taught him when the older officer realized that the big rookie cop was going to escalate things ACCIDENTALLY, just by being gigantic and stocky. <<
I love that T-America addresses this issue, rather than pressuring large men to be badasses.
>> So, more back story will slip in as I have the time to finish the current plot issues. *G* <<
Yay!
>> Now I'm wanting to have Pips and Rybokov meet... <<
Okay, that's my prompt for the next Feathering the Nest. Let me know the date and I'll write it on my calendar.
I'm small, and I've had a few very large friends. I mean a size difference big enough that I could fit under their armpit. There's a very special bond that can come with that kind of relationship. I have literally made friends just by treating giants like ordinary people.
"I like you. You're not afraid of me."
*shrug* "When you're my size, you can either choose to be afraid of everything, or afraid of nothing. Guess which I picked."
I think Pips would like Peter, especially since Peter managed to handle a superpower-related tragedy with capable damage control instead of making it worse. This is something supervillains want to reward. It's one thing to have a political difference across professions, but neither side benefits if one of them causes a lot of avoidable collateral damage.
