>> ...in some ways, JARVIS is his own therapist, he has had to be and will probably continue to be his own primary for certain issues even after he develops a wider safety net with the Avengers <<

Yes, that's true.

>> (LORD help them if anything like the giant bubbling tar pit of CA:CW happens in this universe, JARVIS would (rightfully) go apeshit.)because he is a codebeing with all of the vast "I am and am not" and "Am I not?" philosophical and technical marvels going on... <<

There are only tiny bits of the nasty stuff. I do like T'Challa and would love to introduce him at some point. I have ideas for addressing HYDRA influence. But so much of the plot points are impossible once they've stipulated an AI that can do what JARVIS is already shown to do. They don't understand most of what they've implied; I assume they're not familiar with AI theory. I'm writing JARVIS as a person, though, and given what he can do, there's a lot of this other nonsense that he should have been able to flick off as easily as a light switch.

>> He is both machine and man and NEITHER machine and man, sentient and intangible, tangible and incorporeal (there's a great JARVIS and Darcy team up to herd the cats that are the Avengers fic where Darcy and J corral a fit of DRUNK! Science and Darcy fistbumps the floor at the end, which I love!)<<

That sounds like a story I might enjoy.

>> and will have unique interpretations of events that happen to and through and with him than those had by the meatbound consciousness's that he is surrounded by.<<

This is true.

>> I could see that quite clearly during Phil's panic attack in Hairpins, there was a very clear and LARGE gap between the human perceived event and J's experience of events, and I don't see this ever not being true. <<

They were both reasonable interpretations based on available information, though. It just took correlating those separate ideas to reach a mutual understanding.

>> Throw in the fact that he has access to all of the different mental health viewpoints, research, discussion, and theories past and present and the ability to learn and amalgamate those relevant bits of information into his own work <<

He is learning a lot from those.

>> and I wouldn't be shocked if JARVIS was using a subroutine to run a website like 7cupsoftea or similar to get mental healthcare and mental health companioning to those who need it in a non-threatening way, <<

:D In fact, JARVIS has dozens of personae scattered around the Internet, just counting ones with some development put into them, not the countless times that he makes a username to join a conversation.

>> Tony throws money at charities constantly and starts charitable foundations all the time, and Tony is J's role model. <<

Exactly. JARVIS has access to funds; he hesitates to get anything for himself, but freely takes care of other people. He'll get the hang of self-care over time.

>> Besides he LIVES in the internet, he knows how serious the social isolation/depression issue is and he could very easily see where his mirroring protocols might help out. (that last bit is mostly me wishing under cotton candy rainclouds during a chocolate rainstorm, but hey :) ) <<

JARVIS gets a lot of interaction from people through hidden means. It's useful input, but limited by the constraints which prevent others from truly knowing him. He can still do a lot of good for them, though.
