Okay, I have a different scenario. What if I *built* a long-range aeroplane, just big enough to carry the fuel and survival gear (and a mini chemical loo!) to cross an ocean in like eight hours instead of four? Does this sound scary or fun?
(FWIW it's been done several times before, as far back as 1975; the first guy to do it, Peter Garrison, is a personal hero of mine... :)
