Birdfeeding
Today is sunny, muggy, and quite warm with a light breeze.
I fed the birds. I've seen doves, house finches, goldfinches, a rabbit, and a squirrel.
I planted milkweed, yellow butterflyweed, and orange butterflyweed on the west end of the prairie garden. If they bloom and set seed, prevailing winds will carry the seeds over the prairie garden.
Iris, chives, bergamot, and peonies are blooming.
EDIT 5/21/21 -- I cleared a spot in the prairie garden to plant seeds.
EDIT 5/21/21 -- I cleared 3 spots in the prairie garden to plant seeds.
The mulberries and black raspberries have green fruit. Blackberries are blooming. Cup plants are big enough to store water at the base of their leaves, but I didn't see any froggies hiding there.
EDIT 5/21/21 -- I cleared 3 more spots in the prairie garden to plant seeds.
