New Crowdfunding Project: Land of Eem
Land of Eem: Beginners RPG for Kids + Underlands Expansion
Dungeoneer Adventures Beginners RPG—an easy, fun, family game—plus The Underlands Sandbox, a brand new setting for Land of Eem.
$150,187 pledged of $75,000 goal
1,234 backers
19 days to go
Land of Eem: Dungeoneer Adventures is an easy-to-learn, easy-to-play, and easy-to-run tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG) box set for kids. Players take on the roles of students attending Dungeoneer Academy, a school where kids train to become full-fledged adventurers and explorers in the fantastical Land of Eem.
Based on our action-packed middle-grade series Dungeoneer Adventures, published by Simon & Schuster, the game brings the characters and world of the books to life. As plucky kid heroes, players will flex their creativity and imaginations to complete quests and earn their Dungeoneering Badges.
Land of Eem: Dungeoneer Adventures is a beginners tabletop roleplaying game designed to be easy to learn, easy to play, and easy for parents or educators to run for groups of 2-6 kids—perfect for ages 8 and up (or younger with more guidance). Inspired by the core rules of the Land of Eem roleplaying game, Land of Eem: Dungeoneer Adventures is a new, streamlined and simplified ruleset so kids can pick up and play without any hassle.
We often say that Land of Eem is like "The Muppets meets The Lord of the Rings." Set in the world of our two fantasy series Rickety Stitch and the Gelatinous Goo and Dungeoneer Adventures, players portray colorful, often whimsical, characters set against a backdrop of perilous fantasy.
Land of Eem is designed to value creativity, roleplaying and exploration.
Land of Eem is a world that’s both wacky and wondrous. Embark on adventures that are as silly or as serious as your group prefers! All adventures and quests in the sandbox settings are categorized by three different tones:
Hijinks (Think The Muppets, Adventure Time, or Labyrinth)
Derring-Do (Think The Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit)
Doom & Gloom (Think Conan the Barbarian or Mad Max)
However you’d like to play, Land of Eem supports it.
If you know gamers with kids, pass the word about this.
