I'm spending earth day in the country, looking after my daughter's great dane, Wally, while she and hubby have a belated honeymoon.
Peaceful, rural, inland Victoria, far from the bustle of Melbourne, so quiet I can hear my tinnitus 😂
Seriously though, despite an early winter day yesterday, the late autumn weather has been lovely. A reminder, both good and forboding, of why we need Earth Day.
Here in the north, it's spring. I bought plants today.
I always think of Earth Day as a planting day. *ponder* I suppose if it were in my autumn, I would be planting bulbs! Or perhaps I would make a compost pile to work itself over the winter.

I love bulbs. Daffodils are winding down here, tulips are in full bloom. Alliums have buds.
