Part 1 of moodthemeinayear has wrapped up, and Part 2 starts next week! That said, the start of the second leg is still a great time to jump in, especially if you only want to do a minimal mood theme. The comm schedule is only a suggested schedule, and you can follow it at your own pace, including starting Part 1 instead of Part 2.
Cheerleaders are also very welcome.

Making my own mood thingies is an interesting thought, though starting during FAWM is certainly a bad idea!

People can join at any time and make a set as large or as small as they wish. Look over their schedule for active periods and pick a time that works for you. It doesn't cost anything to try out the concept, and if it doesn't pan out, that's fine too. You never know unless you try!

In theory I totally agree. In practice, I'm very glad that I am (mostly) up to participating in FAWM despite the stupid long covid. FAWM is a lot, no matter how much fun it is. And I've been warned that pushing to do more when the long covid symptoms show up can be counter-productive for recovery. So adding a totally new thing in the middle of a different creative push is a bad idea. Still, I subscribed to the community, since when I have enough focus for reading DW, I can at least cheer other people's efforts.
