Saturday Yardening

Today is sunny and warm.

This morning we went to the native plant sale for Grand Prairie Friends.  I bought two flats of plants, mostly prairie and woodland wildflowers.  The big score was a jack-in-the-pulpit.  :D  We also picked up our t-shirts.

This afternoon, I took some pictures and posted them.

You must have a pretty big yarden! (And I like the word "yarden.") And sounds like you're pretty enthused about keeping it up and planting and working in it. My dad, before they gave up the house and moved into an apartment, was all about the yardening. Raspberry canes, a grape arbor, lettuce and herbs and squash and asparagus and stuff, mint (in a separate container, because otherwise it takes over EVERYTHING), a large flower bed, and a whole bunch of flower pots on the patio. Which, I might add, he built himself. (Bragging about my dad? Who, me? lol)

Yes. It's about 2 acres. I say yarden, because there are gardens in it, but also a lot of stuff that's just planted where it fits.

As much as I can, yes. Far less than would be ideal, though.
