Three Weeks for Dreamwidth 2024 Question 3: Style
This year in Three Weeks for Dreamwidth, I'll be posting questions from the new 2024 questionnaire that I made. If you like the questions, feel free to follow along. You can post your answers in a comment below, or make a post in your own blog and link to it in a comment.
Question 3: How would you describe your personal style?
Bohemian. I love tie-dye, eclectic buttons, knit and crochet, embroidery, and multicultural motifs. I have a plant window in the living room which includes a macramé hanger and one of brass hoops. Plus several dozen window prisms, wind spinners, wind chimes, and other things intended to keep the fairies mostly there instead of stealing stuff from the kitchen. It mostly works.
Practical. Everything I wear has to be comfortable and usually durable. I like shopping at farm stores because at least there I can find shirts that won't ride up to my chest when I raise my arms above my head. I want pockets that I can fit my whole hand in -- or a phone, several packets of seeds, a baggie of mulberries, etc. Furniture is meant to be lounged on, not just looked at.
In 2022, I wrote about Hippies as part of Three Weeks for Dreamwidth, including crafts and fashion. I also have a tag for Clothes.
