Birdfeeding
Today is clear and cool at the moment, but it was cloudy and rainy earlier. It rained last night too.
I fed the birds. I've seen house finches, goldfinches, and a squirrel.
In which I am once again classified as part of the landscape:
There was a particularly phlegmatic goldfinch in the forest garden when I went out to feed the birds. It flew away, but only a short distance. Then it came back and landed about 4-5 feet from my legs and resumed eating. I watched it for a few minutes, then went on with filling the feeders. It flew away, looped back ... and landed about 2 feet from my toes. LOL
