Attack Patterns

Fake caterpillars reveal different attack patterns near the pole than near the equator.  The closer to the equator, the higher the attack rate gets -- and it's driven by arthropods, not vertebrates.  This also shows the importance of variables in scientific studies.  Whether something works may depend on where it is, or other factors.
