It is magical. I'm so excited to see it waking up in spring! I think every town should have something like this. I'm amazed by how much they fit into what is actually a small space. It's a long rectangle, but it probably has less surface area than the nearby yards. You could put one anywhere that typically has a big footprint, like a school or a church, let alone a neighborhood park. Imagine if a town had places dotted all over where you could just go and garden or pick things to eat, and not need to rent a plot in a community garden!

Also they've got a program called Food Is Free, where anyone in the service area can get food plants to put out where everyone is welcome to pick when ripe. That's another idea that needs to spread everywhere, because fuck the government and capitalism.
