>> Wonderful further analysis of the pitch quadrant! <<
Yay, I'm glad it works!
>> Agreed! Even if those relationships/attractions aren't the same/similar as in HS, people's relationships with eachother can be much more complicated and/or diffrent from what the norm expects. Humans can be quite fluid yet stubborn people, so we should at least try to accept that complexity.<<
Very true. You know how "just a phase" is used to dismiss all kinds of orientations? I think it's more constructive to view all sex/gender stuff as a phase, and that's the norm. Most children are basically asexual/aromantic; most will grow up to have some sort of sexual/romantic attraction; many seniors lose much or all of their interest in sex, and sometimes romance. Someone might always know they're gay, or trans, or whatever; others don't discover that until puberty, occasionally middle age or even later.
Whatever you feelings are today, that's what they are, and that's okay. You and others should just deal with the today feelings as valid in this moment. They might change, or might stay the same, and that's okay too.
There are so many types of relationships that humans recognize only casually, without paying enough attention to develop in full, and not all of those are sex/romance things. Best friends. Cop buddies. Professional dance partners. Leader&follower. More diversity would help.
Thank you!
