Hobbies: Barre
Folks have mentioned an interest in questions and conversations that make them think. So I've decided to offer more of those. This batch features hobbies.
Barre is an exercise hobby. It draws inspiration from various sources including ballet and yoga. The name comes from using a ballet barre for balance. While it is most often done in a gym class, it can very easily be done at home if you have a bit of space for a wall or floor barre.

Getting a hobby is somewhere on my "to do" list. Besides reading, don't really have one. (Not sure playing Legos counts since I'm playing with my son, and he'll out-grow it some day. Probably.) However, I'm very busy with my "day life," and since I mostly enjoy it, mostly don't miss not having a hobby.

That's a good idea. I recommend "dating" different hobbies to see which you like. Take a workshop, read a book, get a casual introduction -- you don't have to make a commitment until you find something you really love.

If you enjoy it, then it counts.
My partner and I have assembled several advanced sets together, including Fallingwater and the Tower of Orthanc. Lego now sells a variety of things targeted to adult hobbyists. We buy them whenever we find one that we love in our budget range.

Fair enough.
Re: Thoughts
Sometimes I do like building things with the Legos. Sometimes, to quote somebody (I forget whom, but it resonated with me), “I don’t always like building things with my son, but I do it when he asks, because someday he won’t ask me anymore."
