Totally true, happens to me too. After the third or fourth time a Big Name Pro picked me out a field of 400 fans to hang out with, I asked WHY, because I had no ever-living clue and as flattering as it was, it also made me antsy not knowing.

Oh. So that's why. Okay then. I just naturally assumed that the other 400 would all want to talk about The Next Book and folks might be tired of that and prefer to talk about the weather or whatnot. Apparently this makes me flypaper for pros.
