Character notes for "Who Puts Their Life on the Line"
These are the character notes for "Who Puts Their Life on the Line."
Thunderball (Giosue Aiello) -- He has tinted skin, brown eyes, and shaggy brown hair. He is athletic with a wiry build. His heritage is Italian. He speaks English, Italian, and Spanish. He is 19 years old in 2016. Giosue belongs to the Marionettes. His cape name Bolla di Tuono actually means "Thunder Bubble" but it gets rendered in English as Thunderball, which he likes just fine. He is part of a combat medevac team with Ludovico "Vico" Pugliese, their bodyguard and enforcer; and Genoah Russo, a healer. Thunderball's valiant personality makes him a valuable teammate, and his ability to use forcefields is extremely useful in dangerous environments. As a hobby, he enjoys freerunning. He can't keep still for long, though.
Origin: His powers manifested during an earthquake. While he was trying to evacuate victims, he met Genoah Russo who had just manifested as a healer.
Uniform: On duty, he wears a uniform with light body armor. Off-duty, he likes European menswear in muted shades, sometimes accented with designer silk shirts. He also likes camouflage cargo pants.

Ludovico "Vico" Pugliese -- He has light olive skin, brown eyes, and short seal-brown hair. He is strong and muscular. His heritage is Italian. He speaks English, French, and Italian. He is 24 years old in 2016. Ludovico is the older brother of Natale. He grew up among the Marionettes and now works for the Family as a bodyguard and enforcer. He is part of a combat medevac team with a teleporter, Thunderball; and a healer, Genoah Russo. Faithful and loyal, Vico makes a great teammate. He can be very stubborn, though, and more than a bit of a nannyhammer. As a hobby, he enjoys knitting.
Origin: His powers emerged at puberty.
Uniform: On duty, he wears a uniform and heavy body armor. Off-duty, he likes men's streetwear mostly in cool neutrals.

He requires extra sleep (about 9 to 10 hours a night) and calories (around 8,000 to 12,000 a day) depending on workload. His heritage is Italian; he speaks English, Italian, and Greek. He is 27 years old in 2016. Genoah grew up in the Marionettes. He is part of a combat medevac team with a teleporter, Thunderball; and a bodyguard, Ludovico "Vico" Pugliese. Genoah prefers emergency healing to planned healing that gives him time to build up apprehension about it. He does not give one flying fuck about politics, cape or otherwise, and thinks most of the reasons why people kill each other are stupid. His fearless nature drives Vico to distraction. Genoah is good at making connections, though.
