Here people are getting into the idea of tiny house villages, which isn't prudent long-term because people need elbow room, but does give the idea if you just scale it up to saner sizing. If you get a good-sized patch of land outside the zoning stranglehold, then you can add cabins or earthlodges or whatever you like.
