Very different tendencies. My partner and I have had a lot of fights over the years, but we tend to beat them to death eventually and move on. We don't argue about the same things now that we did 10 or 20 years ago. I have no idea how people tolerate re-having the same fight without making any progress. Maybe that's why they give up and split.
