*nods* I think the issues would be manageable if the facial recognition was something were the facial recognition didn't require any sort of network connection. However, both due to hardware limits and ease of use, such a thing would definitely be networked, and that means every face you see (along with location data and everything else) would be in someone corporation's searchable database, which would definitely suck. I can think of ways around such problems, but they all require a level of strict privacy laws well beyond what even the EU has (much less the US).
