Tumblr is notorious for being a blizzard of special snowflakes. If that's their idea of a good time, they're welcome to it. That's why I prefer venues like Dreamwidth with robust moderation tools.
I agree. I've always preferred Dreamwidth and I'm heartened to see more people joining/returning to the site since the "purge" began at Tumblr. The last year or so has seen a rise in censorship and attempted censorship on the platform, by various people, and I'd honestly rather be here where people do as you do; post what you want, tag appropriately, put stuff under a cut, and let everyone behave like adults in choosing what content to consume. And with the ability to use privacy and moderation tools!
