Clockworklady, or 'little grizzleguts': We got to see some kangaroos, crazy birds and nice nature, and to see my brother's playful Aussie Shepherd again. I thought 'treechange' suburbs were like regular faux-nice suburbs but worse (pretending to be friendly, gossiping over garbage, having a scapegoat), but it was peaceful. My brother even happily admitted that we have more in common as we got older- as we're not kids caught in a zero-sum game of parental attention and resources and we can both get what we want ourselves, I finally got my character development. I'm tackling the shopping addiction better by having a fashion show with Mum if I buy clothes, and returning the 'not quite's immediately. Mum finally agreed to get new shoes that she loves and was able to see her friends. One of them got a bag of perfectly good clothes that don't fit and she loved it.
