Review: Choceur Hazelnut Crunch

We found a package of these at Aldi, four 1.5 oz bars bundled together.  Choceur Hazelnut Crunch is a rich creamy milk chocolate with tiny bits of chopped hazelnut for crunch.  This is great if you dislike rice or toffee crunches, or large nuts, in your candy bars.  The hazelnut flavor is quite pronounced, too; if you like hazelnuts, definitely give this one a try.  I couldn't find a cocoa percentage, but it seems to have plenty; it's not toward the cheap, bland end of the spectrum.

Imagine this as an ingredient.  The bars break down into convenient little rectangles.  Wrap cookie dough around one.  Break off a strip and make s'mores.

We definitely plan to look for this again.  Highly recommended.

I wonder if Aldi'll ever migrate to the southwest. Do they continue the German national tradition of bag your own stuff?

They do in the UK- provide a shelf beyond the tills and take your time to pack. Such a good idea.
