Probably not. If she had that skill and authority, she wouldn't have wound up in a marriage that neither of them really wanted. I think she's been trained to please, rather than to think. But once her parents were out of the way, she showed more initiative. Hell, being around neurovariant people will be good for her -- they tend to be blunt.
