Thoughts

>> Yay. Happy feelings with this. I knew there was someone in the Army o' One that needed headspace, but I couldn't for the life of me place who, but this is perfect. <<

When you raised the issue, I thought about how the common space is mostly designed to be low-key so as to avoid overstimulating the many sensitive people. But lots of neurovariant folks are sensory-seekers instead, so they need a place to go too. I suspect the Stimulation Den is more focused on sensory play and less on hardcore pain and sex, compared to a typical dungeon -- it'll develop based on the needs of its audience.

>> I hope Armelle can also find a way to be happy with the adaptations Bottleneck is making, rather than get bent out of shape or jealous.<<

I'm not sure they're close enough for her to feel jealous in the sense of personal possession of a spouse. If anything, Armelle is concerned about resources -- and fooling around at the Den isn't likely to impact that much if at all.

>> Although, jealous can also make for good story, especially if mixed with misunderstanding the actual connection (i.e. thinking Bottleneck is sleeping with Bumpers, instead of squishing hard on Coruscant PL4) <<

Possibly true. Which would be hilarious if Armelle tracked down Bumpers to complain, only to get a baffled, "I don't think he's into that. Certainly he's not into me. I was mostly naked and he just wanted to fondle the ropes on the floor. Hey, whatever floats his boat, but as his wife, you might want to look into that?"

>> or going to the Den trying to pull a turnabout and finding something she really likes. <<

That could get really interesting. They do try to have something for everyone.

>>Which, given how many Autistic people process passive aggressive attempts to start fights, would likely be met by Bottleneck happily endorsing her choices and basking in that sweet compersion.<<

LOL yes. I think Bottleneck does want Armelle to be happy. He just has no fucking clue how to do that himself. In a lot of ways, they were both just going through the motions because their families wanted them to be married. They really need to sit down together and talk about what they want, since they seem to have decided not to call it a bad idea and walk away.
