My favourite prose author takes reasonably healthy characters and gets all sadistic with them on camera, throwing everything she can think of at them to watch them wriggle out. You, by contrast, have characters that have been through the wringer *off-camera*, and show us how they work through the often-painful-but-ultimately-satisfying process of healing. (There are some times when people get pretty banged up, but one can usually trust, at least within most of your 'Verses (pun intentional), that things will turn out okay. And you write good fluff!) Grippy-hand, her more-than-snuggly moments are all off-camera (Kendis at least once has broken the Fourth Wall and told her readers Nunya), while you've been known to write Teh Hotness what makes the birdies wanna get snuggly all outta season. ;)

I enjoy both of you immensely.
