Yeah, I just couldn't imagine Steve enjoying casual sex. Bucky certainly did. But Steve always seemed kind of uncomfortable even when Bucky was bending over backwards to find a girl for each of them. He got attached to Peggy, so he's not gay. He's generally romantic and patient. That makes demisexual/demiromantic a plausible extrapolation. And it's unlikely to get named as such in canon because Steve doesn't think in those terms, and demi is easily obscured in courtship -- or used to be. Today's speed dating would make it painfully obvious.
