I have mostly finished the first round of poems for each prompter, but there's still a lot of stuff I want to write.  I have family obligations that will keep me away from the computer for most of next week.  So I'm going to try something new and just reopen this fishbowl as the mid-month activity.

* It will have the same theme of "gender, orientation, and identity.

* I will keep writing previously collected prompts.

* If you did NOT prompt on July 4, you may leave a prompt when the fishbowl reopens.

* If you sponsor something already written by Sunday night, you may leave a prompt when the fishbowl reopens.

I've got a bunch of good stuff

Three poems from my, and others', prompts got written already: "The Color of Their Stars", "Mosaic Identities", and "And Thunder Calls in the Distance". These are all good stuff, and I'd like to see them out there, but the total cost ($470) is a good bit more than I can swallow right now.

Would any of the several other people who expressed interest in any of these be willing to pledge a bit toward sponsorship? Your generosity would be appreciated. I don't know if pledging by Sunday night would count as sponsorship for a new prompt, but it might.

I'm willing to add to the pool for "And Thunder Calls in the Distance". Actually, I was checking back here to see if there were any mentions of somebody doing a pool for them.

Great! That was exactly why I left a mention here.

How much are you good for? If I get enough for me to cover the rest, I will let you know where to send the money.

Sending a PM since Deacon had to leave. We can't cover a lot of it, but since so many people were adding on for the prompts I'm sure a lot of them would be willing to chip in.

Do you know if anyone's started a formal pool to add to?

This is it. If I get enough interest in any of the poems I mentioned, I will put in a share, ask for other participants to send it to my financial representative's PayPal account, and forward the sponsorship to [personal profile] ysabetwordsmith. We aren't there yet, but a few more contributions will probably make it happen. I'll keep you informed.

I'd also be interested, but a feasible chip-in for me is in the five to ten dollar range.

Can you post a link or send a PM with your 'where to send money' info since the Bard has understandably declined to administrate pools-in-progress? Honestly, even if you don't get enough interest to sponsor Kenzie's poems *now* I bet down the road you'll be able to do so. They are *good*. I'm willing to take the risk on when and if and send you my little bit of funding now-ish.
