I feel weirdly proud of Shiv, too. Having followed his journey this far from the other side of the worldwall (and word-wall), it's heartening to see him reaching a point where he's begun gathering momentum for himself when it comes to finding good things to do and good people to do them with, instead of being yanked out of his cat-carrier-equivalent box by the scruff of his neck. He'd probably cut me if I sounded patronizing, though, so maybe better to put it on the level of aesthetic appreciation, one person to another, for the sharp beauty of his character arc arising out of chaos - the wording might not be right, but I think he'd understand the imagery.
