Read "Taking the Long Path"

chanter_greenie has released "Taking the Long Path," the second orange!verse story from Schrodinger's Heroes.  The team rigs up equipment to catch a broadcast from another dimension, which turns out to be a morally disturbing one.  Despite that, the lead-in is pretty funny on accout of Chris' reaction to some of the vocabulary that gets thrown around.

For the record, they did not. I'd hazard a guess at legal slavery somewhere along that andervector, however.

Yeah, I've already mentioned one run by people of color where "blanks" were oppressed, a similar one with African-flavored slave hunters, and there are hints and implications about white-dominated versions too.

I was thinking about that when answering the original question, actually. If some of those universes aren't on the same andervector as the orange!verse, I expect they're on a similar one.

Yes, that makes sense. They'd have to be in similar territory.

That's why it's a problem if horrid people get their hands on dimensional travel. The universes right next door tend to be similar, whichever vector people take. They can find allies. This is hinted at in some of the canon and fan material.
