Here's a blog about using a tablet as your primary computer, and doing without a desktop.  

While this wouldn't work for me personally, it's gradually attracting more interest and appeals to some people depending on what they use a computer for.  That last is crucial, because different devices excel at different things.

That's cool! Thanks. It wouldn't work for me, but I'm more comfortable going without my laptop now that I have a tablet. And will soon have a keyboard for it, with all the keys I need for text editing.
