Today is sunny, warm, and breezy.

Round 1, I potted up the last of the purple-and-white petunias.

I also startled the mourning dove off her nest when I went back to the porch, so it's still active.

I've posted a picture of the native plants that I bought on Saturday.

Round 2, I potted up the last of the snapdragons, verbena, and gazania.  I put one gazania in the septic garden to see if it would survive the herbivores.

Round 3, I potted up two ice plants, one yellow and one amber.  I also planted a four-pack of pinks in the prairie garden, and bronze fennel in the strip garden.

This sounds really cool. :d

Also: Your seeds got here sometime last Monday-and we go out to the garage to find that the mother, along wit h taking our boxes to the dumpster (OK find; we got kind of annoyed because she didn't ask first) had gotten rid of our poinsettia pots so now we have nothing in which to plant them. :(

Which is ticking of Jay and Fallon more than I think I can express in the English (or any other, for that matter) language. :( Especially since we can't afford pots at this time.

-Inara )Who wishes she had an icon-and room to put it. :/)

....aand we just got rid of a half-gallon jug we could've had help with. :/ Ice cream buckets aren't pheasible to get-though asking might be an option. Especially since we have a community type app that we can post questions like that up on. I love Next Door. :d

And she would, but it wouldn't be until June-and that, I think, would be too late to plant those, so. I bet she tossed them because they were flimsy and she didn't think we could reuse them, but it's still annoying. She's done this a lot-getting rid of things she doesn't think we'll need or use without telling us. We've just...gotten so used to it that we don't think about it much anymore.

Or most of us have-had I known they were gone, I'd've asked about them, b ut I didn't find out until I went out to look and-not there. (I doubt a lot of us are going to take her crap anymore, though, this is getting old fast-and it's not the first time she's done this, so.)

We live on our own (Thankfully) and she's not coming back to see us until June, but yes, it's still bothersome in the extreme. I....don't think we'd be as sane as we are if we lived with her, we'd probably be begging for places to stay on a regular basis. After being on our own, just the thought of sharing space with her makes us cringe. Not least of the reasons being she doesn't know 'us' (As mentioned before) and after being 'us' here at the house...I don't think wecan be anything else at this point, and we've already mentioned her reaction to us trying to tell her what we are.

This pattern among others is one of the 904323698 reasons we moved out to be on our own, not to mention a one-time situation involving the father that...we'd rather not speak of in public, but scared us enough to get ourselves the fuck out in 90 days (Which was the timeline he gave us before apologizing for blowing up at a later date.) That worked out for the good though, as about a month later (This was way back in 2010, we got a job offer that we took up and had for about three years. :)

I've always had a better view of our father than our bioo-mother, but then again, I'm also going on a lot of memories I...wasn't around for and stories from the 'old guard' (Whom we call the old fronters who aren't as active as they used to be) that make me wonder why the hell they put up with as much crap as they did.

Granted, the relations are miles better than they used to be, but they still leave quite a bit to be desired as you can see. I will say that I'm...pointing out a lot of the unhealtyhy things probably to the detriment of the healtyhy ones, but that's because most of what's come up after she left are the things we're finding out she's done that we didn't know she did while she was here-which is also, unfortunately, a normal thing. She did make sure we knew were things were before she left-and she does try, these days, to take into consideration some of the things we're trying to do (Including telling us she's proud of us for our schooling), but the stuff she does that bother us are things that *really* bother us, so there we are.
